Hello you there!
I go by the name: Andrea Ong, standing 5ft4 with a fluctuating weight which I can't really be bothered about yet. Otherwise I am also known as the face behind who some of you may have followed my really long-lost friend (twaddle@livejournal). That's right! I am just an ordinary girl, who lives a couple of blocks away from you that just enjoys blogging in general.
Just like you, I follow bloggers like Xiaxue, Qiuqiu, BeatriceTan and etc.
Well, you probably would question why would I start this blog in the first place, here let me list you my very candid answers:
- I was on a winning streak in 2011/12 and I was so grateful for the gifts that I have got, that I felt that - "hey why not just set this platform up, and share my reviews."
- I super love to attend beauty events, or any sorts of events. Probably because I'm from a marketing background, that is why I want to participate or at least be the one who attends than the one to organise. It allows me to meet new people, make new friends too!
- I have a super huge personality. I am very very very loud and often really ridiculous in reality. I try to suppress that when meeting someone new. But when I'm all warmed-up, you'll know! ;) . So this comes off as a platform for me to share my thoughts and opinions about whats not! (:
More about me and my big ego:
I have a very big personality (which not a lot of people can comprehend). I am very loud (verbally) and I have big actions, I act on impulse, I am super quick to make a judgement and.... what I'm trying to say is, I'm not perfect. I make lots of mistakes in life and I'm not as feminine as I look.
Like it or not, you have to get to know me (vice versa) before making a judgement. I don't appear friendly in any case at all, I mean, I was born with it - what can I do? I'm not into plastic surgery, but I do have thoughts about plastic surgery to get my face shortened and stronger double eyelids. But all of which, has yet to be done. I know that there are people out there who are exactly like me, looking for a solution for their problems (daily), and I want to be the one to help and solve these problems.

What I look forward on VLV?
Definitely, I am one who loves recognition. It makes me trillion happy when people tell me they heard about my "baby" and yes, I love love love all of you readers! *many hugs and kisses out to y'all*
But behind this blog, it requires a lot of hardwork and effort, which I'm trying my ultimate best to do so, given my job and all. It can get a little bit tiring. But for what it is worth - I'll do it.
I am super opened to all sorts of products or services that are available in the market. I love trying new stuff and sharing it with readers like yourself! I guess I have it in me, somehow or rather!
Just so you know, currently, all products featured, are either sponsored or things that I already have/won. No additional marketing cost have been absorbed by VLV. I didn't set this blog so that I could be paid for what I write, but only because I wanted to share my opinions with you guys. But of course, if you want to thank me for writing up a post for your brand or etc, I would prefer them in the quantity and quality of your products, so that I can share more with my readers! (: [Oh gosh, hope I dont regret this in the future - hahahah]
