VANITYTROVE - Your personalised trove

Being one of the VANITYTROVE bloggers, I was honoured to be invited to this glorious event where they Douglas (founder of VT) shared with us how VanityTrove has been growing over the past 18 months!

I was really hungry prior to the event, and I was so glad that it was held at Food for Thought where Canapes and Champagne were served. 

I can only imagine the joy and glory he has for the brand that he has put together with his amazing team.

It was pretty clear that the turnout was successful! Seats were all filled!

So what is so special about it right now? 

Now, you get to personalise the box that you're getting! 

But before you do that, you would need to create your very own Beauty Profile. 

Actually, this concept, suddenly reminds me of makeupalley.com. It is where anyone, from anywhere can write a review on the product that they have been using. Giving new users a chance to understand the product a better more. But I'm always very doubtful of the reviews, because  most of them comes from non-asian countries. So in terms of the weather, and how the product react on our skin, would be a totally separate issue!

But what is different with VanityTrove is that, it enables users now, to create their very own box of beauty instead of mix-matching different products. (there are surely some hits & misses in the monthly troves, but now, fret not). 

VanityTrove is currently working with over 600 beauty brands and you can be assured that there will be new items every month for you to try or test out. So don't worry about that!

I'm still adding stuff into the beauty table. I'm guessing it would take forever because there are just tooooooo many products that we are currently using!

VanityTrove recommends the products BEST SUITED for you based on your Beauty Profile and Preferences.

You are then able to PICK AND CHOOSE your beauty samples from a wide array of beauty samples selection to go into your PERSONALISED trove.

You will be prompted to fill up your Beauty Profile by answering a few simple questions!

If you're like me, who wear coloured lens, don't worry, just choose the colour closest to your current lens colour. If you change your lens colour often, this option can be edited later on too! (:

Next, head over to the product page and Add the items that you have been dying to try to your Wishlist, Like the Brand and the Product. This helps to unlock more samples for you, you will then be able to pick these samples when they are released!

MORE TO COME!  VanityTrove will be introducing new phase of beauty discovery whereby you will be plugged into the latest happenings of people you follow on VanityTrove. Read up on their latest reviews, brand likes and product likes, products they wish for.  Be sure to also follow people of your interest to know what is up with their beauty regime! It will be just like Facebook but for Beauty.

And here is what I ordered for my very first personalised trove! 

1. Lancôme GÉNIFIQUE Youth Activating Concentrate - Sample Size 5ml
1. I have heard that this is very very good, but was super reluctant to buy the full size, cause I know each product works differently on our skin. I hope this works! I hate the lines around my eyes!!! 
2. GO60 GO60 Masks - Hydrates Face & Neck Paper Mask
1. I had used this mask when I was in Australia. Totally love the texture and how lux the entire product felt. My skin had never felt to moist before ! (Best part was, it wasn't even sticky)
3. Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Crème Compact Broad Spectrum SPF 20 Sunscreen - Sample Compact 2.6g
1. Who wouldn't want to give Laura Mercier a try? So far, I have only tried their concealer, which I thought was pretty good (though nothing beats CDP's). So now I'm gonna try this highly raved product. 
4. Kiehl's Since 1851 Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution - Sample Tube 4ml
1. I have always have a problem with my pimple scars that are forever visible.  Hopefully, this iwll have to correct the problem!  *fingers crossed*
5. Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Illuminating Foundation SPF 19 - Sample Size 5ml
1. Sure I would loveeeeeee to sample YSL Touche Eclat Illuminating Foundation, I have seen so many other beauty bloggers raving about how great the product is, and now I can finally give it a try. If it is good, I wouldn't mind switching from my Dior to this !
6. DrGL Collagen Essence - Sample Size 10ml
1. If it isn't Vitamin C, it is the Collagen essence that every women are requesting or looking out for in their beauty product. DrGL is so famous for her this range of product, and I'm finally being able to test the product without causing a bomb in my pocket. 

Doesn't that sounds like a fantastic box? At least it does to me.

CAN'T WAIT FOR IT TO ARRIVE!
