Some may find Valentine's Day to be cliche.
Some may find Valentine's Day to be a complete waste of money
Some may find Valentine's Day to be too comercialised
But I don't.
It could be a surprise that one would never expect, or just a simple dinner/ time spent with the right person under the moonlight. It doesn't have to be fancy I'd say. But if it is, it needs to be good enough. I think I speak for the majority of women who denies the truth from their boyfriend/partner.
No women, would think that holding a bouquet of roses is too much during any time of the year. Well, unless they are allergic to pollen - that I have got nothing to say. But, somehow, to me, it beats holding a Chanel Bag or sporting a new expensive outfit. Because when I hold that bouquet, I feel more than just love. It is filled with a thought - that I'd be happy to received. It signifies not just his love for me, but how much he is willing to put in, in this relationship.
Trust me, I dated men who didn't even bother and found purchasing flowers a hassle.
Screw you shitheads.
There are ways to save up for an expensive festive like Valentine's Day, and I'm glad we opted out of dining at a fancy/high-priced restaurant and chose to have dinner (steamboat- Lunar 15) with my extended family.

Giving a gift to someone, means a lot to me. It had to represent every thought I have at the back of my mind. Like I always say, I enjoy gifting people things that are practical and meaningful altogether. So this Valentine's Day is no exception. My gift to him were...(apart from the two Ben Sherman T-Shirts I got him - cause he always wear the same shirt all the time)

On the other hand, he gifted to me, my very first piece of Chanel - Classic Chanel Ear Rings. I asked him why he chose Chanel over many other brands, why pick this for Vday (its expensive - wasn't expecting he would go all out this Vday) and his reply was... "cause I think this one suits you best".
Nothing beats that phrase.
Because in his eyes, I deserve nothing but the best.
