[Product Review] Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion

One Drop Reveals Natural Fairness
A Combination of 3 Types of Hyaluronic Acid for 3X the Hydration Power

Why Hada Labo?
Personally, I have heard many of my friends rave about the original Hada Labo Moisturising Lotion. But I'm not really a big fan of it, I blame it on our extremely sunny weather.

The Hada Labo Skincare philosophy: "PERFECT X SIMPLE" was inspired by traditional Japanese beauty wisdom, Hada Labo adopts a "No More, No Less" philosophy in the formulation of its products. Unnecessary additives such as colourant, fragrance and mineral oil that will burden the skin are omitted. Only beneficial, essential ingredients are retained to ensure maximum effectiveness - Only the best your skin and nothing else...

Side Track: To me, it is equally important that the brand promises what it has stated to the public at large. As a marketer myself, often when I feel that a certain brand doesn't deliver, I will get really frustrated, because if you can't deliver, don't promise. Cause with promise, comes expectation. And life has taught all of us well that if expectations are not met, disappointments are not nice to have. Especially for a marketing personnel.

What does the product do?
Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Range gives users the three benefits in one step! With Arbutin and Vitamin C along with Hyaluronic Acid, Hada Labo's Whitening Range allows us to gain fairer moist and brighter skin!

Fact: Do you know that products with Vitamin C helps your skin to recover faster from scarring and also, helps to brighten and lighten your face! Removing the dull complexion in your face!

Fact 2: Always wondered what Arbutin is? Arbutin is actually an extract from a natural bearberry plant that promises to enhance skin fairness and help fight dark spots!

The Moisturising Lotion Milk - the Moisturising Lotion & the Arbutin Whitening Lotion

What is the difference between the Hada Labo Moisturising Lotion & the Arbutin Whitening Lotion?
There is a little difference in terms of texture of the product. The Arbutin Whitening Lotion feels a lot lighter in comparison with the Moisturising Lotion. If you ask me what I like better, I would say the Arbutin Whitening Lotion.

The Arbutin Whitening Lotion

Moisturising Lotion

Would I recommend the product?
Well I guess this is really up to an individual choice. Personally I have been trying to stick to the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair regime to see its true effectiveness, so I haven't really tried this product on my face yet. But, I will suggest to people who are less prone to outbreaks. Previously when I was using the moisturising lotion, I will get outbreaks rather frequent cause the moisturising level is way too high for our local weather. But I have heard from a couple of my friends who have tried it before and they do like the texture and after effects of the product.

I WANT TO TRY!!
That's right! All consumers/readers who are interested to give the product a trial, head on down to Hada Labo Facebook Page here! Redeem your travel size gift(s) today and let me know if you like it!

Till the next review, toodles!

[Product Review] Hada Labo - one drop locks up an ocean

So a few months ago, I participated in this contest, whereby I was suppose to dedicate my love to the person I love and I was selected as one of the 10 winners among 65 participants to win 3 products of my choice.

Click on the picture for better view

I was a previous user of Hada Labo as well, I used the hydrating range - Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion & Milk. But my skin wasn't in the "very good" condition when I was using . Thus, I ended up with a lot more clogged pores and zit all over the face. But this was all because the hydration effects were just too strong for my skin.

But that didn't make me lose my confidence with the brand. It may not suit me, but it may suit you. Just like how it may suit my boyfriend.

So who better than let my boyfriend try the products himself right?  So as mentioned in the picture above, I've got a..

Hada Labo Facial Mist
For myself, I have been using the facial mist once in a while, when I feel extremely lazy to use the moisturising products that I've gotten from AstaLift. So I do about 2 - 3 Sprays, 15cm away from my face after my wash, then pat all over my face.

Like the other day, before we headed out to Margarita's, I sprayed twice on my boyfriend's face to give his face a little water to feed on! (:

It is extremely convenient and easy to use! It doesn't leave such a sticky residue or feeling after application, unlike the lotion that they have. I am so bringing it to Bangkok with me! I heard the weather is insane right now! Still, the product deserves a Thumbs up!

AHA/BHA Exofoliating foamy wash
We have yet to try the texture of the Foamy Wash. But I'm a sucker for things that are just convenient and easier for all to use every day! Just pump and TADAH! foamy foamy wash on your palm! No need to spend time lather-ing already! (:

Hada Labo Sha Hydrating Mask 4's
So before he took off to thailand, he gave the mask a try...

See he so happy!
It was his first time doing a paper face mask!
See how Moisturising it was?
Shiny shiny face. (:
Overall, the mask wasn't that bad. But the boyfriend wasn't used to the sticky feeling that most mask gives after the application, so I asked him to tahan (tolerate) for the next 30 minutes, so that the face gets what it needs, and then right after the clock hit 30 minutes, that boy went to wash off every single essence from the mask.

Sigh, 真浪费! Then again, nevermind lah. free one.

So if you are someone who has dry skin and always travel around (air stewardess/steward/pilots/super business people), then I suggest that for an affordable, promising and moisturising product, choose Hada Labo.
