Today, I'm gonna share with all of you how to achieve this "gradient" look/ Gelish look-alike nails that I was wearing on my previous "failed" Maybelline's Tutorial (cues big laughters across room)

During the application of these nail polishes, my nails has been often mistaken as the "gelish" nails which is the fave and rave right now.

By far, I have only done ONE gelish manicure at a proper salon. It isn't that I didn't like it, but I did had a very bad experience previously.

Can you see how THICK they are? and how poorly done they are? My motivation behind this set of nails was because of my best friend's wedding October last year. I got so irritated by it, cause it was so thick, when I type my keyboard they go "tiak tiak tiak". So I was told its some Japanese Gelish Nails. Fuck that bullshit please.  ITS NOT. I can do better without paying you! GRRRRRRRRRRRR. Removed that within a week.

Ok, that aside (my virgin disgusting gel nails), I went to bugis during CNY period to get my nails done and they COST $70 BUCKS. They felt alright this time round. Not thick and sibei chio. I am that kind of shopper who would ask the manicurist a lot of questions (like why will have bubble on my nails blah blah blah), watch how they do my nails and try to imitate them when I feel poor, I mean I think I have 30 - 40 over bottles now, I can totally own a manicure shop today.

Focus on the nails, not my face please. HAHAHA

On my 21st Birthday - my group of friends gave me this. 21 bottles!

I know that there are a lot of deals out there that offer you cheap cheap gelish nails around the price of $25 - $40 odd dollars. BUT, now if you want to know how to achieve this simple look at the cost of no more than $30 bucks.
