[RSVP] Loewe Oro Collection Launch 2012 
The Arts House - the Blue room. 9th March 2012. 6.30pm - 8pm

Just the other day, I saw ELLE Singapore Facebook Page stating that there is a RSVP session for the new collection of Loewe and immediately, I RSVP-ed. Cause I wanted to share the entire event with my VLV Readers! (: Initially, I had plans to go with Amanda Loh, but she's going to give birth ANYTIME, which I know I would freak out in the event that she needs to deliver the baby when she is with me. So I went with my boyfriend instead.

Entering the event, there was a guestbook and I wrote "YAY TO NEW PDT LINE" <-- Immediately I felt like erasing and write "YAY TO NEW LEATHER CREATION". At least it doesn't sound so.. "Business-woman-ish"

There was a reception serving really sweet treats at the counter. But because boyfriend and I had already had cakes prior to the event and the night before (my mummy's birthday), we were kinda... not interested. the wine served was rather gassy (perhaps the way they poured it, or it could just be me).

the photographer asked us to try it, and IT WAS DAMN AWESOME. Banana with Caramel and some pop corn-ish thing inside!

Honestly, all I had in mind was just this!

To me, Loewe (pronounced as LOW-WAY/ LOOWEE - correct me if I'm wrong) is a high end brand that feature classic designs for the working adults. I have never thought of owning or even coming close to one, cause I never see myself being so high up in the social ladder. (Personally, I never liked stepping in, into a luxury store because I do not have the capability to purchase one for myself or any one else)

The brand simply spells class and after tonight's event - versatility. 

The incorporation of brighter colours (to welcome spring) are just super eye candy! No longer the classic Loewe design that we see! I feel that the Oro Collection kinda serve as a reminder to the consumer that "hey! sometimes its OKAY to have a little fun, a little sparkle, to be a little playful once in a while". Stop being so uptight! I really really like the little details of the trims and all, super super super detailed works that you cannot keep your eyes off! How to not love you tell me?

It was later announced that if you post a picture during the party at ELLE Singapore Facebook Page, you would stand a chance to win something. But sadly, my blackberry just couldn't do it. I guess that's the boohoo side of the entire thing. So the collage above is what I thought about when I wanted to submit an entry!

Ah well. At least I got to get my hands on the product!

So that's pretty much the event! Once again, thank you ELLE and LOEWE for hosting this amazing event! Giving me an opportunity to touch and feeeeeeeeeel the product (:
