[Product Review] Curél, Japan's No.1 brand for sensitive Asian skin

Ceramide Therapy - Not sure what this is?

About the Brand

Curél, Japan's No.1 brand for sensitive Asian skin. It is a brand invented by Kao (Biore/Liese/Jergens) who in 1987, Kao Japan successfully develops the functional components of ceramide, and becomes the first to use them in skin care formula. Through intensive ceramide research, Kao introduced the ingredient to skin care for sensitive skin - Curél. Research proves that Curél's hydrating & penetrating moisture-retaining ceramide care can improve dryness in skin far more effectively than other products. The best part? They work together with dermatologist to understand further on how to improve and cater to sensitive skin consumers!

What could possibly go wrong? The skin care range was actually introduced in Japan in year 2000! That means a minimum of 10 years was used to carry out these researches so as to benefit consumers like us now! [ +++ points ]

Curél is a skincare series specially formulated for people who suffer from recurring dryness and sensitivity caused by external irritation. Curél products have high efficacy in retaining moisture in skin by protecting and replenishing ceramide. It helps to boost skin’s natural barrier function and defend against external irritations.

In fact, Curél's not only produces skin care products but also introduces holistic Body Care, and Scalp & Hair Care series to its product line - of which I didn't get to try, so........ no reviews on that!

But, the information from the website said that the products can even be used on children and babies with delicate skin. [+++ points]
I never knew that the name was made up of two words!

Many of us, I suppose, have sensitive skin. Remember the previous post about ACNE'S where I mentioned about the misconception that most of us ladies have in Singapore?

Perhaps the right word behind that whole chunk of explanation is about us having Sensitive Skin.

I'm not sure about you girls, but I am a strong believer that you need to switch your facial product once in a while. And what better than to start with something really mild that assist to remove the problem?

Apparently, you can get it at the National Skin Centre Pharmacy and selected Watsons and Guardian stores.

Moisture Lotion Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ

Moisture Lotion Ⅲ is suitable for those who prefer a rich hydrating experience, while Moisture Lotion I is suitable for those who prefer a light and refreshing moisturizing sensation. All three lotions provide the same moisturizing effect and can be selected based on personal preference.

Moisture Face Milk and Intensive Moisture Cream

When Moisture Face Milk is used regularly, Intensive Moisture Cream can be added to the moisturization regime for areas especially prone to dryness.

UV Protection Face Milk and UV Protection Face Cream

UV Protection Milk has a silky-light texture, which is suitable for those who perspire easily. UV Protection Face Cream provides a richer moisturizing effect, and is best used for areas of skin particularly prone to dryness.

Overall

In my opinion, the Moisture Lotion came off as a little dry after application, but that was all ok after the subsequent steps were being followed. You may have noticed that I had a spill over on the UV Protection Face Milk. Well, the reason being that when I was pouring out the first 2 solutions, they came out slowly, so I had the assumption that the Face Milk would be the same as well, But to my surprise, it overflow like mad, and yea, there goes half the bottle. After the using all 3 products, I feel that my skin feels a little bit more supple, and very moisturised. The sunscreen may come of as a little oily to some of you, despite it being SPF 25PA++ only.
