(Visit Trip) Changi City Point

(ok, firstly Remember to like VLV on facebook!)

Changi City Point
I think it was months ago, that I read on the one of the StraitsTime Article on their Life section promoting how eco-friendly this certain mall was. A bit hesistant, cause..
  1. Its so bloody far from Serangoon
  2. Nothing much there (from the listing of shops online) that attracts me
  3. Working at a mall, doesn't really motivate me to visit another mall you know? Its like I rather laze at home
Ok, so the decision was made, and we went down to visit Changi City Point

I think this concept depicts embracing nature within the mall.
Ironically, there were NO fishes. Sigh.
Poor boy waiting while I was snapping photos. haha!

hh
the place where you can study for free.

which have already been occupied.
I took quite a few shots of a bee that was collecting honey I assume. You can check out the rest of the pictures on facebook!

A shower area for the kids to clean themselves before they use the facilities.

Well, they had outlets stores like..
  • Esprit
  • Timberland
  • Adidas
  • Nike
You can go on to their website to look out for more stores?

What do VLV think about the mall?
Well, its a place whereby church goers from the Expo can easily assess to, instead of training down to tampines or Changi Airport, now they have an option of visiting Changi City Point. It is quite a condusive place for one to mug their exams for as well, they have huge seats  even in their food courts. Open space for those who like the... greenery efforts that they put on.

Also, they offer quite a variety of food. they have like banquet at Basement 2 I think, that serves Halal food, which I tried the Ayam Penyat (THE CHILLI DAMN SHIOK), for a good $5. So... if you're thinking of budget day, like us, you can head on down to try the super shiok Ayam Penyat. Its more of a family mall than a mall whereby you can shop like crazy. I suppose one thing good about staying at the East side of Singapore is that, they have such huge land space that they can build things extra big, like IKEA, COURTS and GIANT, now we have Changi City Point.

So, if you're going down to NATAS travel fair 2012, this week, simply cross over to the other side of the road and drop by to have a better judgement for yourself. (:
